Helen Surratt Snider

Helen Surratt Snider, age 58, of Canaan Church Rd. Denton died Saturday, November 19 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by George Webb. Interment will follow in Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mrs. Snider was born December 12, 1952 to David Alton Surratt and Mamie Lee Gallimore Surratt. She was a member of the Living Church of God in Asheboro and Co-Owner of Snider Enterprises. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Bruce Snider on April 26, 2011. Survivors include, son; David Bruce Snider and wife Jill Marie of Denton, grandchildren; Mercedes and Taylor, sisters; Kay Hoover and husband Kenneth of Lexington, Lois Sumner and husband George of Trinity, brother; Jerry Surratt and wife Teresa of Lexington, and her mother; Mamie Lee Gallimore Surratt Shuler of Lexington.
