Hazel Dawkins

Mrs. Hazel Lamonds Dawkins, age 94 of McCallum Pond Rd. died Sunday, October 07, 2012 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 9 at Macedonia Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Matthew Baker. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dawkins was born February 10, 1918 in Montgomery County to Neil A. Lamonds and Ellen Britt Lamonds. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Marley Martin Dawkins and by her son, Tommy Dawkins. Survivors include, daughter, Teresa Haywood and husband Jerry of Candor, brother; Alton Lamonds of Candor, 2 grandchildern and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at Mrs. Dawkins residence on McCallum Pond Rd.
