Troy NC-Ed Wilson Harvey Edward Wilson, age 72 of Substation Rd., Troy, died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern. A Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Church officiating. Inurnment will follow in theChurch Cemetery. A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Wilson was born October 31, 1935, the son of V.B. and Annie Campbell Wilson. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in New Bern. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at C & A in the automotive division. He was preceded in death by his wife, Almeta Coble Wilson in February 2007. Ed is survived by his son, Terry Wilson of Troy; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
