Harlis "Dink" Bowman

Harlis “Dink” Lester Bowman, 83, of Bowman Rd., Candor, died Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his residence.  Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Born in Montgomery County on February 23, 1941, he was the son of Nathan Garfield and Rader Mae Burkhardt Bowman.  He was a member of Community Baptist Church and had retired from Central Carolina Vending Company.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Timmy and Darren Bowman.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Smith Bowman of the home; son, Ricky Bowman of Candor; daughter, Denise Bowman Davis (Anthony) of Seagrove; 2 brothers, Red Bowman of West End and Rusty Bowman of Florida; 6 Grandchildren; 13 Great-grandchildren.

Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the Bowman family with arrangements.
