Graham Davis

Mr. Giles Graham Davis, age 72, of Graham Davis Rd., Denton died Friday, January 15 at Moses Cone Hospital following several years declining health. Funeral service for Mr. Davis will be 11:00 am Monday, January 18 at Pine Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly Creekmur and Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Davis was born September 29, 1937 in Davidson County to Brantley Graham and Nellie Smith Davis. Mr. Davis was a 1956 graduate of Denton High School. He was a very active lifelong member of Pine Hill United Methodist Church and had been a member of the N. C. National Guard. He had worked with the Town of Denton, Thermo Products, UltraMek, was self-employed with Davis Craft Shop and retired in 1992 from Labeline. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Linda Gallimore Davis of the home, one son Scott Kevin Davis and wife Beth of Denton and granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Davis. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home on Graham Davis Rd.
