Mrs. Grace Daniel Loflin, age 92 of NC Hwy # 109 S., Denton, NC died Saturday, December 26 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29 at Lineberry United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Derald Smith and Rev. Kelly Creekmur. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Loflin was born May 10, 1917in Davidson County to Cleveland Lee Daniel and Nora Alice Myers Daniel. She graduated from Denton High School in the class of 1934 and was a homemaker and a member of Lineberry United Methodist Church. She was married to Fletcher Loflin who died May 3, 1960. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Lena Bean, Betty Davis and Effie Abee and a brother Paul Daniel. She is survived by daughters, Daynese Loflin Loflin and husband Jerry of Denton and Faydene Loflin of Pittsboro; grandchildren Teresa L Flowers and husband Todd of New London; Amy Loflin of Winston-Salem; Jerry Loflin of Denton and Lt. Jason Nunn and wife Kristin of Colorado, Springs, Colorado; and a great grandchild Katelyn Grace Flowers. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Mrs. Loflin was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
