Goldy Loflin

Mr. Golia S. “Goldy” Loflin age 83 of Troy, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2016 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. Burial will follow at Candor Cemetery. “Goldy” was born January 19, 1933 to Junius and Verna Hines Loflin in Ellerbe, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, R.D. Loflin. Those left to cherish his memories include wife, Janet Lamonds Loflin of the home; brother, Roy Loflin and (Issie) of Mebane; sister-in-laws, Lois Loflin, Becky Burkhead (Jerry), Faye Baker, Pamela Morgan (Dallas), Darlene Fox (John); and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service at Briggs Candor Funeral Home.
