Glenn Thomas Hulin, 87, formerly of Jackson Creek Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at TerraBella Retirement Community in Asheboro. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Piney Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Sam Lewis officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Glenn was born August 24, 1936, in Randolph County, the son of Johnny Franklin Hulin and Lillie Allred Hulin. He was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. He had worked for Burlington Industries as an office manager and loved to travel whenever he had the opportunity. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Lee, and Hodge Hulin and by sisters, Magdalene Small and Ellen Flannery. He is survived by a brother, Jay Hulin; and by a sister, Betty Swaney; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Piney Grove United Methodist Church. Memorials can be made to Piney Grove United Methodist Church.
