Gerald Wayne Hicks

Mr. Gerald Wayne Hicks, age 72, of Steed Street, Candor, NC passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 First Health Hospice & Palliative Care in West End.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mr. Hicks was born on September 26, 1953 in Montgomery County to Betty Lou Williams Hicks and Claude Winfred Hicks.

Gerald is survived by his father, Claude Hicks; his brothers, Danny Hicks and wife Kathy and David Hicks and wife Debra and his sister, Betsy Hicks Allred and husband William all of Candor; niece, Deanne and husband Patrick; and great-niece, Briella.
