FULL NAME: Mrs. Georgia Britt McIver age 92 of Biscoe died Tuesday, March 4 at Autumn Care. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 7 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Anne Beach. Burial will follow in the Biscoe Town Cemetery. Mrs. McIver was born February 2, 1916 in Montgomery County, the daughter of Rufus Howell and Malinda Moore Britt. She was a homemaker and a member of Biscoe Presbyterian Church. Mrs. McIver is survived by her daughter, Gloria McIver Martin and husband Charles of Pineville; a brother, Robert Howell (Bear) Britt of Cary; 2 Grandchildren, Mrs. Christie Bagwell and husband Eddie of Biscoe and Melinda Martin and Chris Kastl of Charlotte; 1 Great-grandchild, Logan Kastl of Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM prior to the service on Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
