George Tillotson

George Charles Tillotson, 77, a resident of Mountain Vista Health Park and formerly of N. Main St., Denton, NC passed away on Thursday, January 02, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

George was born on June 18, 1947, in Davidson County to Wade Tillotson and Eleanor Bodenheimer Tillotson. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and had attended Wingate University. George had worked various jobs in his life, for much of that time he had been a creeler with PPG.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Robbie Tillotson and Jery Tillotson, sisters, Nancy Freeman and Jayne Bennett

He is survived by a sister, Jennifer Miller (Daron); brother, Joe Tillotson (Kathy); nieces,
Aurleia Engelbretson (George) and Claire Izackowitz (Jason); nephews, Seth Miller, Micah Miller, Wade Tillotson, and Matthew Bennett.

Memorials can be made to Mountain Vista Health Park in George’s memory at 106 Mountain Vista Health Park Rd., Denton, NC 27239.
