George Wiley Fine

Mr. George Wiley Fine, age 77 of Denton Road, Denton and formerly of High Point died Sunday, February 18 at High Point Regional Hospital.   A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 24 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Terri Lanning Cook.   The family will see friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home.   Mr. Fine was born July 27, 1940 in Stanly County to George McCoy Fine and Onnie Harkey Fine. He worked as a mechanic with Bob Dunn Ford in Greensboro for many years. He was married to Nancy Lou Hoover Fine who died in 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents and by brothers Dolan fine and Wayne Fine.   He is survived by his sister Helen Fine Knight and husband Earl of Denton; nieces Robin Garrison and husband Bob, Julie Younts and husband Robert and Cindy Cook and husband Martin; sister-in-law, Shirley Barnes and several great nieces and nephews.   Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407
