Gary "Chuck" Nance

Mr. Gary “Chuck” Wayne Nance, 79, of Ricann Drive, Lexington, NC passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 30, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dan Downing officiating. Interment will follow at Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Nance was born October 15, 1942, in Davidson County to Wayne Foster Nance and Geraldine Surratt Nance. He was a graduate of Denton High School and a member of Cid United Methodist Church. He had worked for Airgas as a salesman. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Nance and a brother Trenton Nance

First and foremost, Gary was a family man that loved spending time at the lake with his dear family, then a Elvis Tribute Artist, an avid outdoorsman, pilot, a motorcycle and racing enthusiast, and he was very patriotic,

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lambeth Nance of the home; sons, Quintin Nance (Laurie) and Mike Nance (Barbara) all of Lexington; 3 granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Heather, and Alexandra; 1 expectant great-granddaughter, Presley Joyce; sisters, Loretta Nance of Roaring River and Ellen Nance of California.

The family will see friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
