Gary Lee Miles

Mr. Gary Lee Miles, 63, of Briggs Rd., Lexington, NC passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A memorials service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Davis. The family will greet friends following the service and other times at the residence on Briggs Rd.

Mr. Miles was born May 17, 1958 in Davidson County to George William Miles and Margaret Brown Miles. He retired from the City of Lexington as a mechanic after 33 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David and George Lane Miles; sisters, Dorothy Benner, Betty Harris, Mary Elizabeth Wacenshire, and Ruby Mae Hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Parker Miles of the home; son, Daniel Lee Miles and wife Amanda Miles of Lexington; 2 grandchildren, Emma Murphy and Cameron Dahlenburg; brothers, Harold Miles of Ohio and Bobby Miles and wife Shirley of Granite Quarry; sisters, Sara Miles and Bessie Jo Miles both of Lexington and Martha Miles of Holly Ridge; and 24 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 or to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
