Gary Haywood

Mr. Gary Phillip Haywood, age 72, of Denton, NC died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be October 2nd at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Freddie Moretz.

Mr. Haywood was born March 22, 1949 in Guilford County to Alton Haywood and Esther Garner Haywood. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He had worked as a foreman at Jacobs Creek Stone Company. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Tysinger Haywood of the home; daughters, Julie Moretz and husband Brian and Natalie Schweikert and husband Michael all of Lexington and Jane Hall and husband Ernie of Trinity; grandchildren, Phillip Hall, Kylie Moretz, Branson Schweikert and Tyler Schweikert; brother, Kenneth Haywood of Olive Branch, Miss.

The family would like to express appreciation to caregivers, Kenneth Tysinger, Nancy Tate, Phyllis Grubb, Tyanna LeBeau, Carolyn Leidigh , Carrie and Daniel Nelson.
