TROY-Gary Wayne Eaton, 54, of Wallace Avenue, Troy, died Friday, March 11, 2016. Memorial Service will be 3 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Hunsucker officiating. Born August 30, 1961 in Montgomery County, he was the son of Eldridge Coolidge and Louise Marie Williams Eaton. He was a former textile worker. He is survived by his son, Gary Wayne Eaton of Troy; his mother, Louise Williams Eaton of the home; 5 sisters, Donna Shue of Robbins, Patricia Gooch of Staley, NC, Cynthia Shue of Star, Robin Kellis of Star, and Sharon Morton of Mt. Gilead; brother, David Eaton of Sanford, NC; former wife, Sue Eaton of Troy. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM prior to the service on Tuesday at Laurel Hill Baptist Church. The family requests any memorials or flowers be sent to 600 Wallace Ave., Apt 3F, Troy NC 27371 Briggs Funeral Home of Troy is in charge of arrangements.
