Fred Thomas Wright

Mr. Fred Thomas Wright, 95, of 376 Poole Mill Rd., Jackson Springs died Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Marcus United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born August 29, 1910 in Richmond County, a son of the late Thomas Albany and Magnora Alice Lewis Wright. He was a member of Marcus United Methodist Church and was a cabinet maker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Lou Strother Wright, 2 sisters, Bertha Bennett and Beatrice Wright, a brother, Leonard Wright, and a grandson, Carl McQueen. Mr. Wright is survived by 4 daughters, Cherrie W. McMillan of Ellerbe, Jean W. McInnis of Norman, Hilda W. McQueen of Apex and Linda W. Thompson of Jackson Springs; 12 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren and Step Great-Grandchildren. The family will see friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Friday at Briggs Candor Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Poole’s Mill Road, Jackson Springs.
