Fred Cranmer

Mr. Fredrick “Fred” Richard Cranmer, 95, formerly of Mayfield, NY passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Mountain Vista Health Park. Mr. Cranmer was born December 7, 1926, in Buffalo, NY the son of Fredrick Sylvester Cranmer and Evelyn Florence Charters Cranmer. Fred was a veteran of the United States Marines and was a schoolteacher. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his, wife, Marie Cranmer, and a brother, Carl Schrenk, and a sister Roberta Nicholson. He is survived by daughter, Susan Craven of Denton; sons, Keith Cranmer of Berkley, CA, John Horn of Portland, OR, and Bill Horn of York, ME; 27 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. A gathering of friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m will be held at Mountain Vista Health Park on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Inurnment will be held later in Johnstown, NY.
