Frances Lax

Frances Hall Lax age 81, of Denton, NC died April 10, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital following a sudden illness. Mrs. Lax was born August 17, 1934, the daughter of Samuel Vernon Hall and Ruby Harrison Hall. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herbert Joel Hall. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Lax, her daughters Terri Cullop and husband Tim, Susan Hedrick and husband Terry, Step daughters Patti McClellan, Cindy White and husband Eddie. Frances was "Grannie" to nine grandchildren: Lori Robbins and husband Josh, Leah Mason and husband David, Callie Jernigan and husband Michael, Abbie Hedrick, Tara Fields, Jonathan Fields, Edison White, and Sayge and Gracie Cullop. She was also blessed with three great grandsons Cohen Mason, Jaxson Robbins, and Turner Jernigan. She is also survived by a brother, Richard Hall and wife Elaine. Frances enjoyed life. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her husband She enjoyed yard work and spending time with family. She was a faithful member of Lineberry United Methodist Church. Services will be held at a later date pending her husbands release from the hospital and his recuperation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Children's Home PO box 1288 Lexington, NC 27293 The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love with visits, Prayers, words, food, and calls.
