Mrs. Frances Whitt Crouse, age 84 of Mountain Vista Health Park and formerly of Crousetown Road, Lexington died Friday, July 11 at Mountain Vista Health Park. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 13 at Central United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Benny Clodfelter. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Crouse was born December 4, 1923 in Guilford County to Fred O. Whitt and Lenoa Jones Whitt. She was retired as Secretary and Treasurer of Crouse Dairy Products, Inc., which she and her husband operated for many years. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women Mary Frances Stubbs Circle, a former Sunday School Teacher and former Choir member. She was married to Aaron B. Crouse who died in 1987. She was also preceded in death by brothers, J. C. Whitt and Lloyd Whitt and sisters, Virginia Broadwell and Betty Jo Neighbors. Mrs. Crouse is survived by sons, Reid Crouse and wife, Ann of Denton; Craig Crouse and wife Gretchen of Lexington; by a daughter Gale Rogers of Greensboro; a sister Dot Cook and husband Eddie of High Point and grandchildren, Amber Smith, Cleve Crouse, Jonathan Crouse, Carrie Crouse and Aaron Crouse, and a great grandson, Reece Smith. The family will see friends from 1:30 to 3:30 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of Chris & Amber Smith, 22166 Hwy # 109, Denton.
