Ms. Frances Jean “Sis” Cranford age 90, of New Hope Rd., Denton passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House. Frances was born January 3, 1927 in Randolph County to W. Dyel Cranford and Nancy Lou Chaffin Cranford. She attended New Hope United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Farmer High School class of 1943. Frances graduated from High Point Hospital School of Nursing and The Children’s Hospital School of Nursing in Washington D.C. in 1948 and later that year became a Registered Nurse. Through the years Frances had worked as a Registered Nurse at Randolph Hospital, Burlington Industries, and in Dr. Tyson’s office in High Point. In addition to her parents Frances was preceded in death by brothers, Aaron Lewis Cranford and Harold Cranford. Left to cherish her memory is sister, Patsy Cranford Wagoner of Denton; special nieces and nephews, Kenneth Cranford, Dennis Cranford, Mike Wagoner, Dan Wagoner, Jane Johns, and John Wagoner; and by a host of great nieces and nephews.
