Frances Woody Blake

Mrs. Frances Inez Woody Blake, 57, of McIntosh Rd., Carthage, NC passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Briggs Candor Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blake was born December 7, 1964 in Haywood County to Albert Lawson Woody and Evelyn Inez Riddle Woody. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Albert “Homer” Woody. .

She is survived by her husband, Terry Blake of the home; son, Terry Scott Blake (Erin) of Connecticut; daughter, Amanda Melton (Todd) of Oakboro; step-daughter, Lori Blake of California; brothers, Marty and Tim Woody both of Stanly County; sisters, Linda Shue and Brenda Stidem both of Stanly County; 6 grandchildren, T.J., Max, and  Cole Blake and Maggie, Emma, and Lilly Melton; 3 step-grandchildren, Jordan Blake, Cody, Trey, and Riley.
