Flynn Kellis Morgan

Flynn Kellis Morgan, 90, of US Hwy 220 Alternate, Candor, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy.    Flynn was born November 30, 1927 in Montgomery County, the son of Wade H. and Elgie Kellis Morgan.  He was a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church, owner/operator of a barbershop in Candor for many years and a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea.   He is survived by his wife, Martha “Shortie” Allen Morgan of the home; 2 daughters, Lana Elizabeth Morgan of Chapel Hill and Ginger Lynn Morgan Jones and husband David of Columbia SC; sister, Audrey Kelly of Pawley’s Island SC; 3 grandchildren, Morgan, Spencer and Savannah Jones.   Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.   Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the Morgan family with the arrangements.
