Florence "Flo" Ocker

Florence “Flo” Lavinia Ocker, 81, of Jackson Creek Rd., Denton passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, June 7 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Charles Moses.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home on Jackson Creek Rd.

“Flo” was born August 9, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to William E. Ocker and Madelyn Mahoney Welsh. She had worked in Human Resources for the State of Florida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Laraunis and a brother, William F. Ocker.

She is survived by a brother, Drew Ocker of Denton; a sister, Laura Carroll of Denton; nephew, Cameron Carroll; and nieces, Linzy Tollison (Brian), Abbie Carroll, and Meagan Murphy (Kyle).
