Flora Pauline Caviness Sutton, 84, of Eagle Springs, died Sunday at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Eagle Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Matt Brogli officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born December 31, 1931 in Moore County, she was the daughter of Herman and Ruth Jones Caviness. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sutton, and 2 sons, George Edward Dixon, Jr. and Stanley Thomas Dixon. She is survived by 2 sons, John Dixon of Lenoir City, TN and Tim Dixon of Eagle Springs; daughter, Portia Nodine of Southern Pines; 21 Grandchildren, 34 Great-grandchildren, 5 Great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -2:00 PM prior to the service at Eagle Springs Baptist Church.
