Fleta Crotts Ford

Mrs. Fleta Mae Crotts Ford, age 94, of Denton died Monday, October 29 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. A graveside service for Mrs. Ford will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, November 1 at Clear Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tammy Talbert officiating. The family will see friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence.on Carroll Ave. Mrs. Ford was born January 25, 1918 in Davidson County to J. O. and Maggie Sidden Crotts. She had worked at Burlington Industries and was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Ford who died June 30, 1970 and a brother J. O. Crotts and a sister Avonell C. McVey. She is survived by one son, Larry Ford and one daughter, Judy Ann Ford, both of Denton and two sisters, Sybil Jermane and Bobbie Lou Rosser, both of New London.
