Felix "Phil" Tartaglia

Felix “Phil” Tartaglia, age 83, of Denton died Monday night, May 7 at his home. By his request there will be no public service. The family will be at his home on North Jones Street in Denton. Mr. Tartaglia was born October 28, 1928 in Hudson County, New Jersey to Denato and Rose Manzo Tartaglia. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was retired from Burlington Industries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou Gallimore Tartaglia who died July 16, 2003. He is survived by two sons, Danny Tartaglia and Mickey Tartaglia and wife Joy and one daughter, Patricia Tartaglia and husband Doug, all of Denton. He is also survived by one brother, Nicholas Tartaglia of New Jersey, two sisters, Rosemary Ortense of Florida and Jennie Rossotto of New Jersey and one grandchild, Nicky Tartaglia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
