Cora Faye Andrews Wade Whitt, age 64 of Gallimore Rd., Denton died Dec. 30 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Vern Peterson. Interment will follow at the Denton Town Cemetery. The family will see friends on Sunday form 6 to 8 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Gallimore Rd. Mrs. Whitt was born September 6, 1946 in Randolph County to Lewis Andrews and Flaudie Varner Andrews. She worked as a spinner with Burlington Industries Denton Plant and also at Lowes. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Wade and by brothers, Max Andrews and Gene Andrews and by both her parents. Survivors include, husband Michael Whitt of the home, niece Louise Shaw of Denton, great nephew, Donnie Shaw and wife Deanna of Denton, great niece, Stephanie Shaw of Denton, and by sister in law Patty Knight and husband Red.
