Faydene Hill Garner

Mrs. Faydene Hill Garner age 81, formerly of E. Third St., Denton died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 19, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Tammy Talbert. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Garner was born February 13, 1933 in Davidson County to Walter Lee Hill and Eva Jane Pierce Hill. She was a member of Summerville Baptist Church and also attended First United Methodist Church in later years. She had worked in the Hosiery Industry. Surviving is husband; Harold “Frick” Garner, sons; Steve Garner and wife Lisa of Lexington and Scottie Garner and wife Wendy of Denton, daughter; Shelia Gallimore and husband Steve of Denton; grandchildren (5); Nicole Gallimore Hickey, Alex Garner, Keegan Garner, Dakota Garner, and Jason Hayes, great grandchildren (4); Jeremiah Garner, Lillian Hickey, Steven Garner, and Leigha Hickey. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
