Mr. Everette Martin Sedberry age 76, formerly of Pekin Road, Troy died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 14 at Holly Mount Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mitchell Roller and Rev. Michael Almond. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Sedberry was born September 28, 1937 in Montgomery County to Mott Sedberry and Nina Dennis Sedberry. He was a member of Holly Mount Baptist Church, an a graduate of Welding Trade School in Houston, Texas, and worked as a welding instructor and contractor. He was preceded in death by his wife; Elna Deane Sedberry and by a son; Everette (Butch) Martin Sedberry, Jr., and by sisters; Betty Sue Robinson and Nancy Katherine Sedberry. Survivors include, sons; Kenneth Allen Sedberry and wife Amy of Richfield and Calvin Lewis Sedberry of Candor, daughters; Cheryl Lynn Thompson and husband Bradley of Mt. Gilead and Dana Gayle Baldwin and husband Larry of Ellerbe, brothers; Mott (Bud) Blair Sedberry and Theodore (Teddy) Sedberry both of Troy, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Holly Mount Baptist Church and other times at the home of Cheryl Thompson on Thickety Creek Rd.
