Evelyn Lovette

Mrs. Evelyn Poole Lovette, age 73 of Floyd Church Road, Lexington, NC died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 26 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Floyd. Burial will follow at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Lovette was born August 19, 1934 in Davidson County to Lonnie Poole and Rosie Bean Poole. She was a retired employee of Lexington Furniture Industries, Henry Link Plant. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Johnny Poole. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lovette of the home, sons, Jackie Poole and wife Regina; Kenneth Poole and wife Linda all of Denton. A daughter Rebecca Fowler and husband Lennon of Lexington, sisters Genevieve Jackson of Denton, Shirley Mize, and Linda Farmer and husband Paul all of Lexington. A sister-in-law Edith Poole of Lexington, grandchildren Steven Fowler, Michael Fowler and Tanya Beane and great grandchildren Abby and Emily. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence of the daughter Rebecca Fowler, 2765 Floyd Church Road, Lexington.
