Eva Snider

Mrs. Eva Mae Russell Snider age 88, of Mountain Vista Health Park passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Health Park. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Barry Surratt officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington. Mrs. Snider was born May 28, 1928 in Davidson County to Glenn Russell and Maurine Russell Russell. She was a member of Chandlers Grove United Methodist Church. Eva had worked as a supervisor with Thomasville Furniture Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Snider; brother, David Glenn Russell; sisters, Carolyn Russell Ball and Kathrine Russell Surratt; and by son-in-law, Dr. William Rabe. Surviving are son, Chris Snider of Thomasville; daughters, Rita Snider Bradshaw (Wesley) of Thomasville and Sydney Snider Rabe of New London; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
