Eulah Davis

Mrs. Eulah Harris Davis, 94, of old NC Hwy 49, Denton, died Sunday, April 01, 2012 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 3 at Liberty Fellowship Church conducted by Rev. Jamie Draughn. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of the son on Brantley Gordon Road, Denton. Mrs. Davis was born October 19. 1917 in Randolph County to Arthur William Harris and Ina Nell Yates Harris. She had worked at Bossong Hosiery Mill and Asheboro Hosiery and was the retired co-owner and operator of Maple Grove Service Station. She helped organize and was a member of the Farmer Volunteer Fire Department where she also served as an E M T. She was an active member of Liberty Fellowship Church. She was married to William Hoyt Davis who died September 10, 2009. Mrs. Davis is survived by her son William Harris (Bill) Davis and fiancée Sharon Scott of Denton, and a sister Marinda Yates of Denton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Liberty Fellowship Church Building Fund, 8165 New Hope Road, Denton, NC 27239 .
