Emma Horton

Ms. Emma Jean Reasor Horton age 82, of Badin Shore Circle, New London died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 21 at Chandlers Grover United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Steve Phillippi. Inurnment will be held in Chandlers Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Ms. Horton was born January 24, 1933 in Wise County, VA to D.S. Reasor and Emma Chandler Reasor. She was a member of Chandlers Grove UMC and a homemaker. In addition to her parents Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Neil E. Horton; daughter, Joyce Horne; sons, Daniel and Donald Horne; and by a brother, Daniel Reasor. Surviving are sons, David Horne of VA, Christopher Horne of IL, and Lawrence Neil Horton of New London, NC; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
