Emily Martin Reynolds, 79, of Charlotte, formerly of Candor, died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at University Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce League officiating. Burial will follow in the Candor Cemetery. Born in Rockingham County on April 9, 1937, she was the daughter of Troy and Lena Gann Martin. She is survived by her son, Rick Reynolds of Fort Mill, SC; sister, Sylvia Morgan of Mooresville; 2 brothers, Charles Martin and Wayne Martin, both of Charlotte; granddaughter, Elizabeth Reynolds. The family will receive friends from Noon to 1 PM prior to the service at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
