Elma Louise Seabolt Snider

Elma Louise Seabolt Snider, 86 of Wilkes Snider Rd., Denton died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Graybrier Nursing and Rehabilitation in Trinity following a six week illness. Mrs. Snider was born April 3, 1920 in Halifax County the daughter of Mr. John and Bertha Whitley Seabolt. She was a homemaker and a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Hobert F. Snider who passed away January 27, 1983. Mrs. Snider is survived by a son Wayne Snider of Denton, daughter Betty Snider of the home, brothers Clarence Seabolt and Reid Seabolt of Asheboro, sisters Hazel Frye, Mildred Cromer, Doris Hoover, all of Asheboro. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Gravel Hill Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Dr. Ron Chaney, Rev. Steve Chipps, and Rev. Danny Hosler. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Wilkes Snider Road.
