Elizabeth Dixon Saunders

Elizabeth Ann Dixon Saunders, 73, formerly of Shoreline Dr., New London, NC passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Brookdale Assisted Living in High Point.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 18 at Chandlers Grove United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Steve Phillippi.

Elizabeth was born in Guilford County on October 13, 1947 the daughter of the late Henry and Avis Stewart Dixon. She was a licensed Realtor and attended Chandlers Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Saunders of the home; son, Chuck Saunders and wife Christy of Trinity; step-son, Thorne Saunders and wife Gina of Trinity; step-daughter, Terri Saunders Barbee of Wilmington; sister, Janie Mitchell of High Point; 7 grandchildren, Devin Saunders, Chase Saunders, Faith Parker, Lance Saunders, Brooks Saunders, Dustin Barbee, and Travis Barbee; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Elizabeth should be made to the Alzheimer’s Association through www.alz.org .
