Elizabeth Harris

Mrs. Elizabeth Pierce Harris, age 74 of Tysinger Road, Denton died Friday, Feb. 3 at her residence. Mrs. Harris was born January 19, 1932 in Davidson County to J. Harris Pierce and Viola Gallimore Pierce. She was a reited employee of the Davidson County Tax Department and was married to C. Edward Harris who died in 1999. She is servived by a daughter, Melody Wentworth of Denton and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Fairview United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Charles Moses and Rev. Doug Rowe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see Friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home.
