Elizabeth Joan Fine

Elizabeth Joan Fine, 67, of Denton, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at CenterClaire Nursing Home in Lexington. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Alleghany United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly Creekmur officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Charleston, SC on November 2, 1942, she was the daughter of Ronald and Hallie Cook Fine. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Roark, of Ruffin SC She is survived by her brother, Ronald Fine, Jr and his wife June, of Denton NC, her brother-in-law, Robert Rourk of Ruffin SC; five nephews, Jason Fine of Carolina Beach NC, James Fine, US Army, Ft. Bragg, Fayetteville NC, Michael Fine of Raleigh NC, and Robert Roark, Jr. and Stephen Roark, both of Ruffin SC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence of her brother on Alleghany Church Rd, Denton.
