Elizabeth Ann Anderson

Elizabeth Ann Anderson, age 62, of Denton died early Thursday, March 8 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem following an unexpected illness. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 12 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gavin Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Miss Anderson was born September 10, 1949 in Florence, South Carolina to Jewel Hawes Anderson and was raised by her mother Jewel Anderson Jernigan and step-father A. G. Jernigan. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Columbus County. She is survived by her brother Lee Jernigan of Denton and her sister Norma Anderson of Lexington
