Elaine Voncannon

Elaine Snider Voncannon, age 90, of Denton, NC, passed away on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem after a brief illness. Elaine was born in Denton, December 27, 1930, the daughter of Everett Snider and Cora Mae Pierce Snider. She was a Jehovah’s Witness and a retired realtor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Voncannon; three brothers Warren, Bruce and Lowell Snider. She is survived by her son, Benjamin Voncannon of Detroit, Michigan; brother, John Snider and wife Carole of Pfafftown; nephews, Arlie Snider of Mount Airy and Allen Snider of Clemmons. A memorial service will be held at a later date, and burial will take place at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Denton.
