Jackson Springs ,NC Elaine Spoon Lee, age 69, of Oakland Lane, Jackson Springs, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Donnie Gillis officiating. Burial will follow in the West End Cemetery. A native of Guilford County, Mrs. Lee was born August 8, 1939, the daughter of Robert and Etta Loggins Spoon. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Lee of the home; 2 Daughters, Debbie English and husband Terry of High Point and Amanda Lee of Chicago IL; 3 sons, Toby Lee of the home; Phillip Gibson, Jr. and wife Carol of High Point and Keith Gibson of High Point; 2 sisters, Judy Kinley of High Point and Linda Smith of Sophia; a brother, Carl Spoon of High Point; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
