Edward Ned Mccallum

Candor Edward Ned McCallum, age 67, of Candor, died Monday, January 28, 2008 at Autumn Care in Biscoe. A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2008 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Turnmire officiating. A native of Montgomery County, Mr. McCallum was born March 21, 1940, the son of Halbert and Pansy Bryant McCallum. He was a retired textiles worker He is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce Masuga of Adel GA and Tisha McCallum of Asheboro; 2 sisters, Martha Ann Campbell of Atlanta GA and Mary Agnes Starry of St. Louis, Michigan; 2 brothers, Fairley McCallum and H. G. McCallum, both of Candor; 4 Grandchildren The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home
