Eddith Gallimore

Mrs. Eddith Snider Gallimore, age 82 of Gallimore Road, Denton, NC died Friday March 30 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 2 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Danny Hosler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence on Gallimore Road. Mrs. Gallimore was born February 4, 1930 in Randolph County to Clyde C. Snider and Hazel Latham Snider. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church and had worked at Walker Shoe Company and retired after working at Burlington Industries Denton Plant. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lorie Ann and by brothers Ralph Snider and Burrell Snider Surviving are her husband, Ray E. Gallimore of the home, a daughter Donna Lowe and husband Sydney of Asheboro; brothers, Richard Snider and wife Judy of Denton, Raeford Snider and wife Jean of Asheboro; sisters, Willa Dean Cagle and husband Paul, Nancy Skeen and husband Donald all of Denton, and Susan Cook of Ft Mill, SC; grandsons, Bradley Lowe and wife Anissa and Jeffrey Lowe and wife Mendi all of Asheboro; by great grandchildren, Ashley, Kaytlin and Morgan and by sister-in-laws, Leona Snider of Denton and Joyce Bean Snider of Lexington.
