Drew Hill

Mr. Timothy Drew Hill age 26, of Ernest Snider Rd., Lexington passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his residence after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer. A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Community Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brian Workman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Drew was born December 15, 1990 in Davidson County to Tim and Toni Safrit Hill. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and a 2009 graduate of South Davidson High School. He attended Methodist University where he played football. Drew worked alongside his father at Hillbilly Metal Roofs. Drew loved to play basketball and football but his greatest passion was being the best father that he could be for his son, Daylin. Surviving are wife, Samantha Leigh Hill of the home; son, Daylin Conner Hill of the home; parents, Tim and Toni Safrit Hill of Lexington; brothers, Dane, Drake, and Damon Hill of Lexington; maternal grandparents, Ron and Ruth Safrit of Richfield; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Martha Hill of Lexington; great-grandmother, Frances Gallimore of Denton; mother-in-law, Sandra Floyd of Denton. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Memorials can be made to the Drew Hill Memorial Fund through GoFundMe.
