Dow Harris

Mr. Dow Douglas Harris, age 77, of Panthers Point Road Richfield and formerly of Denton died Thursday, December 3 at Autumn Care in Salisbury. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 5 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Claudie Harrison. The family will see friends following the service. Mr Harris was born June 30, 1938 in Davidson County to Andrew Harris and Margaret Beatrice Newsom Harris. He was an Army Veteran having served in Korea. He was a retired truck driver having worked for Klopman Mills, Coca Cola and Signal Delivery. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Harris, his mother Beatrice Myers and a sister Brenda Moore. He is survived by his daughter, Martie Harris Chappell and husband Michael of Richfield; grandsons Kasey Chappell and Korby Chappell and a brother bobby Harris of Thomasville.
