Doris Smith Tucker

Doris Smith Tucker, 63, of Forest Dr., Biscoe, died Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born in Montgomery County of May 10, 1962, she was the daughter of Bobby and Nervie Goins Smith. She had worked at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living.

Doris is survived by a daughter, Stacy Tucker of Biscoe; Jason Tucker of Jackson Springs; sister, Brandy Morse of Troy; 3 brothers, Anthony Smith, David Smith and Randy Smith, all of Candor; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.

Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
