Doris Roach

Doris Carrick Roach, age 68, of Mountain View Church Road, Lexington died Tuesday, April 10 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 12 – 2:00 pm at Mountain View Baptist Church, where she was an active member, with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Roach was born in 1938 to Johnny A. and Wilma Snider Carrick. She was a graduate of Southmont High School and attended business college. She had worked as a sewer in the textile industry and retired from Lampcrafters. She is survived by her husband Larry D. Roach of the home; sons, Danny Roach and wife Patty of Matthews and Ron S. Roach of Tampa, Florida; brother, Steve Carrick and wife Paula of Lexington; sister, Bonnie Owens and husband Gary of Lexington; grandchildren, Zack and Alex Roach. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Mountain View Church Rd.
