Doris Zachary Mabe

Doris Zachary Mabe, 88, of Skill Rd., Eagle Springs, died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 23 at Eagle Springs Baptist Church, with Revs. Jonas Clark and Matt Brogli officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was born July 31, 1925, in High Point, the daughter of Lydon and Bertha Williams Zachary. She was a registered nurse and a member of Eagle Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mabe in 2010. Mrs. Mabe is survived by a son, Edward Mabe (Barbara) of Raleigh; a daughter, Rhonda Clark (Rev. Jonas) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a sister, Barbara Harris (Bo) of Eagle Springs; 4 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren. The family will be at the home of Bo and Barbara Harris, Skill Rd., Eagle Springs.
