Dora Garner

Mrs. Dora Painter Garner, age 80 of Shaver Road, Richfield, NC died Friday, August 14 at Glenn A Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. A graveside service will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, August 16 at Mountain View Memorial Garden in Denton with Rev. Johnny Daniel. The family will see friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home Mrs. Garner was born October 8, 1934 in Catawba County to Jim Painter and Ella Mae Goodson Painter. She was a Homemaker, and had worked in the Hosiery Manufacturing Industry. She was married to H. Fred Garner who died January 11, 2000. She is survived by son, Jimmy S Garner of Richfield and R Lee Garner of Charlotte; daughter, Shirley Ann Lindsay of Salisbury; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
